"How did Le Bon Coin become France's number 1 property advertiser?
France's favourite brand. In 2024, Leboncoin topped the list of France's favourite property brands. It's a familiar sight for the classified ads giant, which has become a benchmark for the housing market. According to the press, 20 minutes explains this rapid transformation.
It's well known that housing doesn't make the man. The Le Bon Coin website has decided to take advantage of this adage and reigns supreme in the hearts of the French when it comes to... property ads. However, Le Bon Coin defines itself on the Web as "the site for small ads". Small, small... We're talking about housing, after all. Another world, normally.
In fact, in the top 5 of France's Favourite Brand, there are three sites specialising purely in property: Se Loger (2nd), PAP (4th) and Logic Immo (5th), which makes this number 1 ranking all the more surprising.
The site attracts between 29 and 30 million unique visitors a month, or more than 40% of the country's population. Aurélien Flament, director of the property market on the Le Bon Coin site, gives the figures for his sector in particular: "7.5 million people with property projects use Le Bon Coin exclusively, including one million in the Paris region, where we are less well known, particularly among professionals.
