Up to €200,000: 10% VAT incl. — From €200,001 to €2,000,000: 5% VAT incl. — Above €2,000,000: 4% VAT incl.
Viager sales:
Payable by the buyer (unless otherwise agreed by the parties).
Up to €350,000: 7.5% VAT incl. — From €350,001 to €550,000: 6.5% VAT incl. — From €551,000 to €1,000,000: 5.5% VAT incl. — Above €1,000,001: 4.5% VAT incl.
Rentals — payable by the tenant:
1) Unfurnished or furnished lease (law n°89-462 of 6 July 1989): viewings, application & lease €12 VAT incl./m² + entry survey €3 VAT incl./m²
2) Civil Code lease (secondary residence or company lease): 6% excl. VAT (7.20% VAT incl.) of annual rent excl. charges (tenant) and incl. charges (landlord)
